Sponsor A Child
Laal-U-Anar partners with local community organizations in Kandahar and Badakshan to sponsor many children who are suffering from a lack of basic support. Your tax-deductible donation will help to provide under-privileged children in these two provinces with basic necessities. No donation is too small, and a regular donation can help to sponsor one or more children.
Please contact us at info@laaluanar.org to find out more information about the various children you can sponsor. Once you decide on sponsoring a child, you will receive his or her picture and details. You will be able to correspond with the child through letters coming from Afghanistan.
What types of children can I sponsor?
The Laal-u-Anar Foundation works with local partners to care for children who:
- have lost both parents and are living in orphanages.
- have lost one parent, usually the father, in war. They are living with their mothers or extended families.
- have both their parents but are from very economically challenged households that cannot meet the child’s basic needs.
What does my sponsorship provide to the child?
- Basic food and water
- Hygiene and health-care
- Support to families for housing
- Local community-based education
